Director console

The director console runs in a web browser and on tablets. Its Today screen answers three questions: are we in ratio, are we paid, are we inspection-ready.

Tiles for attendance, ratios by room, staff on shift, unpaid balances, open incidents and expiring documents. Tap any tile for the detail.

Ratios

Kinfold tracks each room’s ratio live from check-ins and staff clock-ins, and forecasts the rest of the day from schedules and expected pickups. You get an alert at least 15 minutes before a forecast breach, with a suggested staff move. Moving a child between rooms is checked against the target room’s ratio.

Enrollment and waitlists

Track inquiries, tours, waitlist entries, offers and e-signed enrollment contracts by age group. Kinfold never charges families waitlist fees. Families can see their waitlist status and confirm they’re still interested.

Staff

Keep profiles, schedules and qualifications with expiry dates. Clock-ins are tied to rooms so ratios stay accurate. Timesheets export to your payroll.

Compliance and inspections

Kinfold scans child and staff files every week for missing signatures, expired immunizations, missing training hours and incomplete records. Before an inspection, Inspection mode builds a PDF packet of the records you choose for a date range.

Funding-ready records

Attendance records keep who recorded each entry and every edit with a reason. Each child’s age group, space type, CWELCC eligibility (Canada) or subsidy authorization (US) is recorded, so attendance and space-days by age group can be exported for funding and subsidy reporting.

Reports

Attendance, enrollment, revenue, aged balances, ratios and staff hours, exportable as CSV or PDF.

Multi-site

Owners switch between sites in one tap and see roll-up reports across sites. Data stays separate per site, by role.

Roles
